Terra Nova
National Park - Fingers of the Sea - protects remnants of the ancient
Appalachian Mountains. Rocky headlands provide shelter from the awesome

cliffs and sheltered inlets of the coastal region to the rolling forested
hills, bogs and ponds of inland. Cultural history abounds in the remnants

Icebergs
are frequently seen in the waters of Trinity and Bonavista Bay during
the spring and summer months.
There are
a variety of boat tour operations in the local area that offer exciting
ocean tours where you can experience the magnificence of one of the worlds
natural wonders.
Massive
icebergs consisting of 15,000 year old ice that originated from glaciers
along the Greenland coast and have been carried south in the cold Labrador

Two scenic golf courses are located on the edge of Terra Nova Park approximately

a 9 hole. Some have dubbed the 18 hole as the most scenic in Eastern Canada.

Since its founding as a professional theatre company in 1978, Rising Tide
